The genealogies in Scripture are not just lists of names — they are powerful proofs of God's unfolding plan through real people in real time. Once we truly know Jesus Christ as our Savior, we walk with God—there’s no turning back to the world. John 6:68-69 (NIV)

No Turning Back After Knowing Jesus

Title: How Jesus’ Disciples Died – The Ultimate Sacrifice and power of the Gospel.
Narrator: "They walked with Jesus, witnessed His miracles, and spread His message to the world. But their faith came at a great cost. Have you ever wondered what happened to Jesus' twelve disciples? Stay with us as we uncover their powerful and often tragic endings."
1. Peter (Crucified Upside Down in Rome) "Peter, the leader of the apostles, was sentenced to death under Emperor Nero in Rome. Humble to the end, he requested to be crucified upside down, believing he was unworthy to die as Jesus did."
2. Andrew (Crucified on an X-Shaped Cross in Greece) "Andrew, Peter’s brother, preached the Gospel in Greece. He was tied to an X-shaped cross, where he continued to preach for two days before passing away."
3. James, Son of Zebedee (Beheaded in Jerusalem) "James, one of Jesus' closest disciples, became the first apostle to be martyred. King Herod Agrippa ordered his beheading in Jerusalem around 44 AD."
4. John (Died of Old Age in Ephesus) "John, the beloved disciple, was the only one to die a natural death. He survived an attempt to boil him in oil and spent his later years in exile on the island of Patmos before passing away in Ephesus."
5. Philip (Crucified in Hierapolis) "Philip preached in Asia Minor and was crucified in Hierapolis after leading the wife of a Roman proconsul to Christ."
6. Bartholomew (Flayed Alive in Armenia) "Bartholomew, also known as Nathanael, was skinned alive and then beheaded for preaching the Gospel in Armenia."

12. Judas Iscariot (Suicide by Hanging) "Judas, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, met a tragic end by hanging himself in guilt. His death was not a martyrdom but a fulfillment of prophecy."

A Letter from Paul to the Churches Today
Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, by the will of God, to the churches in this generation—grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I write to you with urgency, for many have abandoned the truth of the Gospel and turned aside to a different message—one that is not from Christ. I marvel at how quickly some have been led astray, accepting teachings that pervert the grace of our Lord. But hear me now: if anyone preaches a gospel other than the one we received from Jesus Christ—whether it be a man, a leader, or even an angel from heaven—let them be accursed! (Galatians 1:6-9)

The Law of Jesus Christ Is Love and Truth
Brothers and sisters, do you not remember the law of Christ? Our Lord Himself declared:

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." (Matthew 22:37-40)

For the whole law is fulfilled in this: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

Christ has set us free from the yoke of the law, not that we may live in sin, but that we may walk in the Spirit. Yet, some among you distort this freedom. They say, “You must obey the traditions of men to be saved!” while others say, “Live however you please, for grace covers all things!” But I tell you, both are lies!

For Christ is the fulfillment of the law (Romans 10:4), and righteousness comes not through works, but by faith in Him. Do not let anyone deceive you with empty words, nor let them place upon you a burden that Christ has already lifted.

False Teachers Have Crept Into the Church
I warn you now, just as I warned the early churches: in these last days, many will no longer endure sound doctrine. Instead, they will gather for themselves teachers who say what their itching ears desire to hear. They will turn away from the truth and follow after myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

Some will claim to speak for Christ, yet they twist His words for their own gain. Do you not see how they exploit the people of God for money, teaching that godliness is a means to wealth? They promise prosperity but leave many in ruin, while they themselves grow rich from the offerings of the poor. (2 Peter 2:1-3)

Others will pervert grace, saying, “Live as you please, for there is no judgment.” They celebrate sin rather than holiness, and in their deception, they deny the very Lord who bought them. Their destruction is near. (Jude 1:4)

I name them before you, just as I named Hymenaeus and Philetus, whose false teaching spread like gangrene. They said the resurrection had already taken place, deceiving many. (2 Timothy 2:16-18) So also today, some distort the Gospel, leading many into confusion. Mark them and avoid them!

What Must You Do?
1. Hold fast to the truth. – Do not be deceived, but test every spirit, examining all things by the Word of God. Be diligent in presenting yourself approved to God, rightly handling the Word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

2. Rebuke false teachers. – If any leader, pastor, or teacher spreads lies, rebuke them sharply so they may return to the truth. (Titus 1:13) But if they persist in their error, expose them before others, that all may take warning. (1 Timothy 5:20)

3. Separate from those who refuse correction. – Do not be yoked with unbelievers, nor welcome those who bring a false gospel. (2 John 1:10-11) If they will not listen to correction, come out from among them and be separate. (2 Corinthians 6:17)

Stand Firm in Jesus Christ!
Brothers and sisters, stand firm in the faith. Do not be shaken by the deception of false teachers or by the schemes of the enemy. Cling to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which alone is the power of salvation.

And now I urge you: continue in love, remain in truth, and preach the Gospel boldly until the coming of our Lord. The time is short, and His return is near!

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

A Letter from Paul to the Churches Today

Yes, it matters to God when people mock Him or speak against Him. The Bible tells us that God is holy, and we should honor His name. The commandment says, "You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God" (Exodus 20:7, NIV), which reminds us to speak with reverence and respect for God.
God's judgment is serious, and consequences can follow when people disregard His authority. In the case of events like the California fires or other tragedies, it's a reminder that we live in a world that is affected by sin and the actions of people, but God still calls us to honor Him.
Here’s a simple verse that addresses the importance of honoring God’s name:
"Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord must be put to death" (Leviticus 24:16, NIV).
While this is a law in the Old Testament, it shows how seriously God views respect for His name.

Does God Care When People Mock Him? Christ Mission

Mother's Day from a biblical perspective celebrates the virtue of honoring mothers as outlined in the commandment "Honor your father and your mother" (Exodus 20:12). It's a day to appreciate and recognize the sacrificial love, care, and wisdom that mothers provide, reflecting God's nurturing and compassionate nature.
